Intensive french language. Improving your level from A2 to B2 in Martinique.

This is an intensive course to improve, in general terms, your French level, and it aims to be a preparation course for any official examinations, independently of your starting level  (minimum assessed A2 level is strongly recommended). This course will also help you feel stronger and more fluent in your active spoken or written French and will serve as solid base for any further implementation of the language.

The teachers will show you the path to get to it, giving you the necessary tools to prepare for languages exams. The course will focus especially on developing oral skills, as these are often the hardest for most of the students. The heterogeneous groups formed by students of different ages, countries and specialties are the perfect environment to work on both oral competences: comprehension and production. Written competences will also be present in the course.

During the course we will focus especially on developing oral skills, as these are often the hardest for most of the students, as well as very difficult to practise when we study individually at home. The heterogeneous groups formed by students of different ages, countries and specialties are the perfect environment to work on both oral competences: comprehension and production, and of course, fun is guaranteed!

Written competences will also be present in the course; we will provide the students with the most useful tips to develop their production skills and their comprehension competences, using authentic documents such as newspapers, magazines, brochures, etc. Our aim is that you enjoy the experience and you take advantage of sharing this course with other students from different countries. This is so enriching!

Nowadays, there is a wide range of resources available online to learn foreign languages; our mission as teachers will be to guide you to choose the most useful ones and take advantage of them to prepare for the exam. It exists as a standard indicative daily programme. However, since participants will be asked to do an initial French test, the course can be personalised each week depending on participants’ needs.

Our aim is that you enjoy the experience, and you take advantage of sharing this course with other students from different countries, this is so enriching!

Cost and Erasmus+ funding

The training course is tailored to be fully funded by Erasmus + to teachers, trainers, headmasters and any other staff of education organizations so the Erasmus + grant covers all the costs of the course. The cost of the Erasmus course is 480€ for a 6-day course. This cost includes course fees, transportation for the training activities if this is necessary, free cultural activities in the city during the week such as a guided city tour on the first day of the week and an Europass mobility – Learning agreement document as a part of the administrative task that you need to do as a participant. So, the company offers guidance and will help with all necessary documents that the participant can need due to the Erasmus framework rules. Moreover, networking activities will take place among participants during the week and, obviously, the certification of attendance is included as well. Finally, an optional cultural package is offered to deepen the relationship between all participants and it’s open for relatives and friends as well.

The course methodology will have daily motivation activities, self-knowledge, self improvement, working in pairs and groups, simulations and networking not only in the classroom but also in outdoor activities.

– Real learning: Students will have to face real communication situations, inside and outside the classroom. Since the course takes place in French speaking countries, our priority will be to practice outdoors, with native speakers, in real situations of everyday life: supermarkets, Post office, bus drivers and locals.

– Functional and pragmatic: We will not focus on learning rules and grammar practice. This is of course necessary but… you can do this at home!! We will practice with real life examples and many different types of activities and resources, taking advantage also of your experience as teachers.

– We will focus on oral skills: individually, in pairs, in small groups…. The objective is communication. We will practice as native speakers and will also use other resources such as TV, radio podcasts, etc. We will practice with examples of exams so that you know what you can expect the day of the exam.

Our experienced trainer will support and stimulate the networking and cooperation among participants. We organize networking and cultural activities in order to give participants the opportunity to exchange best-practices and establish professional cooperation and links. In these activities will take part not only participants of the course but also other participants from different courses attended by the company. The expected training activity has been structured so that the participants can transfer know-how and develop needed skills to create and manage a proposal with real success.
