Erasmus+ project management and eTwinning 2.0: How to internationalize the school
This structured course is designed to bring Europe into your school and classroom. You will be offered a comprehensive introduction into international school project possibilities within the Erasmus+ framework, supplemented by a practical instruction into the innovative features of online partnership projects with eTwinning and blended learning possibilities. With a focus on partner finding for international projects and practical project work, participants will dive right into project management and collaborative initiatives and hopefully return home with a pocket full of project plans and international partners.
You will learn everything about the funding available at Erasmus + Projects, acquiring concrete skills related to the design of a successful project, the key words to write the form and manage the project once approved. It’s compulsory to know as much as you can about topics of the proposal and criteria assessment to get the grant. A practical simulation is carried out for each topic in focus during the European Project Design.
Throughout the course, participants will engage in practical workshops and collaborative activities tailored to deepen their knowledge on Erasmus+ initiatives. From understanding the new European School Development Platform (ESEP) and the possibilities of Erasmus+ funding as well as writing a successful Erasmus+ accreditation to structured drafting of international projects, setting up project twinspaces on eTwinning and quality assessment, each session is designed to empower educators with practical skills and strategies for project success.
The importance of eTwinning in international projects has been increasing intensely within the last few years. The European National Agencies grant more points to your Erasmus KA1 application when you are planning to use eTwinning within the project or even better – starting from an already existing project. However, the eTwinning platform is manifold and not always self-explanatory.
Cost and Erasmus+ funding
The training course is tailored to be fully funded by Erasmus + to teachers, trainers, headmasters and any other staff of education organizations so the Erasmus + grant covers all the costs of the course. The cost of the Erasmus course is 480€ for a 6-day course. This cost includes course fees, transportation for the training activities if this is necessary, free cultural activities in the city during the week such as a guided city tour on the first day of the week and an Europass mobility – Learning agreement document as a part of the administrative task that you need to do as a participant. So, the company offers guidance and will help with all necessary documents that the participant can need due to the Erasmus framework rules. Moreover, networking activities will take place among participants during the week and, obviously, the certification of attendance is included as well. Finally, an optional cultural package is offered to deepen the relationship between all participants and it’s open for relatives and friends as well.
The course employs a blend of practical workshops, discussions, presentations, and experiential learning activities. Participants will actively engage in learning-by-doing on the eTwinning platform. Short lectures ensure comprehension, while networking and collaborative activities facilitate the exchange of best practices and professional cooperation and development.
The expected training activity has been structured so that the participants can transfer know-how and develop needed skills to create and manage a proposal with real success. The methodology will have daily motivation activities, brainstorming, working in pairs or groups, simulations and networking not only in the classroom but also in the optional cultural activity.
