Body-mind-nature connection: well-being for a fully awareness and healthy lifestyle. Outdoor and environmental sessions.
About the course
Course information
This is a practical, dynamic, fun and unconventional course that seeks to connect Body-Mind-Nature (BMN) from different approaches which are applicable both inside and outside the classroom.
Much of the BMN training is done outdoors, such as the aquatic environment (beach or natural park), the mountains and urban parks in the city such as Reykjavik, Alicante, Tenerife, among others. These locations are the scenarios where the practical sessions are carried out that range from the body – and the awareness of movement through physical activities that range from the most subtle to the most demanding and all of them always adaptable. (trekking, ocular gymnastics, shodō, orienteering, )-, breathing (through different systems and apnea work applied to health), the mind (with introspection exercises, lateral thinking and mindfulness), nutrition (while you enjoy healthy breakfasts you will learn the new trends in healthy eating and how the microbiota interacts with the brain.) and nature (learning about grounding, sustainability…).
During this course the participant will re-learn, experience techniques and healthy body patterns focused on personal development, promoting cognitive, motor and physical development along with social development. All the concepts and tools of the course have been based on experience, advances in neuroscience and integrative systems of health and well-being.
Body-mind-nature connection and well-being for a fully awareness healthy lifestyle course is aimed for teachers and school staff from pre-school level to primary, secondary, vocational, adult and special needs education, staff of non-government organizations, government and policy makers and company staff. Non-native English trainers expect participants to have at least B1 level of English proficiency.

Cost and Erasmus+ funding
The training course is tailored to be fully funded by Erasmus + to teachers, trainers, headmasters and any other staff of education organizations so the Erasmus + grant covers all the costs of the course. The cost of the Erasmus course is 480€ for a 6-day course and includes course fees, transportation for the training activities if this is necessary, free cultural activities in the city during the week such as a guided city tour on the first day of the week. Moreover, networking activities will take place among participants and, obviously, the certification of attendance is included as well. Regarding documentation, the company offers guidance and will help with all necessary documents that the participant can need (learning agreement and/or Europass mobility). Finally, an optional cultural package is offered to deepen the relationship between all participants.
Methodology
The methodology has focused on the practice of various activities, so that the participant experiences first-hand the benefits of each exercise.
The method used goes from the individual to the group. The individual part promotes autonomy and personal skills (observation of the world, self-improvement, personal awareness). On the other hand, group dynamic group practices foster cooperativeness, leadership, group support, and healthy guidelines. All this in a natural environment that enhances the adherence of what has been learned.
In addition, participants will work and receive a huge amount of documents to improve their knowledge in the different areas integrated in the course. At the end of the course, the company will provide the participants an attendance certificate including the detailed information about the course, e.g. title, programme and schedule. In addition, a Europass Mobility Certificate can be added on request.
